Well.... Guess What?!? We got a house!! Its amazing how the lord works. Really. Zach and I were so set on the house in Towson that we have just been waiting and praying for the house. I was actually thinking about it last week and I realized that we have just been praying for the house and not for God's will. I know, I know.. I didn't even notice it. But.... we decided to look at some more houses this past weekend and before we went to look I finally prayed for God's will. I've been so caught up in this house in Towson and the long process that it has been that I didn't realize that I wasn't asking God for his plans, i just wanted to get what I wanted.
So anyway, we went to see these houses with a new attitude. That God had his plans for us and we just needed to listen. We looked at three houses Saturday and we really liked the first one. After looking at the other two we decided to put an offer in on the first house. It's in great shape and ready to live in now. Even though we plan on doing some redecorating. Anyway, we found out Sunday night that the sellers accepted our offer and signed the contract! The house is ours!!! We settle on March 2nd. The thing that amazes me and Zach is the fact that the house price dropped 40 thousand dollars just last week. We would have never even looked at the house before if the price was more. We were waiting on the Towson house long enough for this house to come into our price range. The week that they drop the price, Luke finds it and we see it Saturday. 5 days after the price is dropped. Can you believe it? God does have his own perfect timing. The house was shown to seven people Saturday and three on Sunday and we got it. That really does how the awesome God we serve.

Wow!!! That is awesome! I love how you are giving God all the credit for this :) HE is so good, when we have eyes to see!! Where is the house? I am so glad things are falling into place for you two :)
That is wonderful news! The Lord is so good. Isn't it amazing to see the Lord's work?! How exciting! Your first house....yay! I am thrilled to hear this news--I had been praying since I heard on Sunday.

it's something i've been learning about in my reading the Bible and devotions, too... praying God's will - not just what we want...
looks like i'm all caught up - now you just need to put up the pictures you have of the house. when do we get to see it?
