Finally! House pictures!

Well... I've gotten many complaints that I haven't updated my blog. I have many many funny stories to share and tons of pictures yet.... haven't had the time to put them on here. Owning a house.. as many of you know... comes with a lot of work and responsibility, especially when you're renovating the entire house! We couldn't have just been like normal people who purchase a house, slap a couple gallons of paint on the walls and call it home. No... not at all. Afterall, I married a Canfield and as they say... When you're a Canfield, your house is never complete. There's always something you can do to make it better.

Here are some before and after pictures of our kitchen. It's not complete yet but I know you are just dying to know what it looks like. I put these before and after pictures together in my computer album and now laugh every time I look at them. If you had been here right when we bought the house and hadn't come back until today, you would think you're in a different house.

This is what the one wall in the kitchen looked like when we first moved in. It wasn't quite my style. lol So.... with some free cabinets that Zach got off a job and some paint, and free hard wood flooring from the shop for the countertops and free tile from the shop and a lot of work....we turned this out of date kitchen into....

This!
Before...

After! Hard to recognize huh? lol
This is the view from the hallway before we took the "load bearing" wall down

And this is what it looks like now!
Much more open. Don't you think?

Now you see the wall...

Now you don't!

Are you happy that you got to see a sneak peek? I promise.. I'll start blogging more often. It's easier to tell stories when you're caught up with the old ones!

Not only has the Lord blessed me with his love and my health. He has also given me an amazing husband with many talents. I can not express how much I love him! He amazes me every day with all of the things he can do. Although our house may never be complete, I can just look around and see the many things that Zach has done to make this home ours. We have and will continue to make many memories here and can't wait to see what else the Lord blesses us with.

You are very blessed. I think it is great how you are so supportive of your husband in his work- guys love that, don't they! Especially when they know it is heartfelt :) I really love all that you guys have done!
